Fresh from playing at the Ideal Tidy Weekender, 2014 is already shaping up to be even more action packed than before for Kirsty Lee James; the previous twelve months has seen this ultra-versatile DJ rock international and UK dance-floors that have helped her pick up residencies to compliment her many headline appearances; Frantic, Xstatic and Shine are regular events for a young lady that has an impressive and deserved following of loyal fans.

Its not just promoters and clubbers that are paying attention; established big name DJ's are keen to work with Kirsty too.; trade legend Ian M hand-picked Kirsty to support him with his Pure Ian M events after playing back to back with her at Subway City in 2010. Ian M has described Kirsty as "one of the brightest stars" of recent years. Quite an accolade!

In order to succeed in an over-crowded market, you have to be the full package; in addition to being one of today's most proficient mixers, Kirsty Lee James' production work is getting a lot of airtime from her peers too. With chart top-spots for her "Code Red" and "Timeless" and more recently the highly acclaimed and addictive "Domestic" (it's a track that everyone asks me about" says Andy Farley) a picture emerges of a multi-talented all-rounder that proves there are DJs that play hard-house, and there are Hard House DJs. The two should never be confused.

Kirsty Lee James is the Hard House DJ to watch; everyone is talking about her. Along with the Digital Toolbox Tour, more bookings abroad and at home than ever before and studio projects that have even the biggest names getting excited about, one has to wonder what is next for Kirsty. With a work ethos that is clearly paying off we can only see even greater things for an artist that is a true ambassador of today's Hard House Scene.
