Ben Townsend

Bens djing career started 4 years ago after entering the Turn dj competion in Birmingham. After reaching the final he was asked to play at the infamous shine, and from there was asked to enter the Twisted artist dj competition, which he promptly won. After playing several smaller gigs around the Birmingham area Ben decided to try and reach a wider audience. His first break came when Summit asked him to play for them, and soon made him resident. From there Ben has gone on to play across the country at nights such as Vicious Circle, Storm, Polysexual, Nu religion, Requiem, Cyberkitten and many more.
More recently Ben has started to get involved with the production side of things, working with many of the top engineers, with signings to the likes of Vicious circle, Flashpoint, Fireball, Carbon, Spinball and Unity to name a few! Ben also had the priveledge of having one of the winning entries in the Trauma trax remix competion, with his remix of the Trauma vs Ilogik classic - Gods child.
Gods child later featured on the Tidy weekender 14 mix cd, as well as the Trauma trax album, and his tracks Matts song and Lost are set to feature on the forthcoming Carbon vs Spinball album.

This has really helped push his career with bookings flooding in, and major support from many of the scenes top djs, with Andy Farley and Paul Glazby even rating him as his best newcomer of 2008, and Andy also rating him as best producer.
